Vinexpo’s Virtual Buzz for April tackles US & European Union Tariffs Suspension impact
Trade show Vinexpo New York is taking The Buzz virtual for 2021 with a series of events that promotes knowledge exchange and discussions. The next iteration sees a panel tackle the impact of US & European Union Tariff Suspensions.
In this month’s virtual discussion, participants will hear from “US Importer, Vela McClam Mitchell Thomas, CEO of Lemae Group Wines, Luis Gouveia, Sales & Marketing Director of DFJ Vinhos (Portugal), Fabrice Roelandt, Export Manager at Vignerons Associés (Bourgogne, France) and Robert Tobiassen, President of the National Association of Beverage Importers (Washington, DC) on the four-month suspension of the Airbus and Boeing tariffs”, according to Vinexpo’s website.
Virtual attendees can expect to hear McClam Mitchell Thomas, moderating, tackle questions concerning US importers, the impact of tariffs across all levels of the three-tiered system, and opportunities that may be presented by their suspension.
Meanwhile, Gouveia and Roelandt will discuss their experiences of the tariffs, while Tobiassen will deliver insights from the National Association of Beverage Importers, including what action industry members can take.
