Trivento announces new partnership with Channel 5

Argentine wine brand Trivento has announced a new Channel 5 partnership as value sales rise by 76% in the UK in the year to 27 February 2021.

The partnership with Channel 5 started on 1 April and will see 10 second idents from Trivento’s Real Life Bold Discoveries campaign shown during some of the channel’s most popular content and video on demand (VOD) service.

According to data from Nielsen, the brand has seen its value sales rise by 76% in the UK as it continues to increase its investment in the market to safeguard its strong brand positioning.

Trivento adverts will also be shown on other channels later this month, with 20 second ads featuring its Real Life Bold Discoveries campaign due to appear on Channel 4, ITV and Sky from 15 April to 9 May.

According to Kantar, the brand has already achieved record household penetration – the number of British households purchasing the product at least once – of 7.4% in the year to 24 January 2021.

Trivento’s partnership with the Discovery Channel, now in its fourth year, will continue until September.

Trivento’s marketing manager, Preety Johl, added: “We have seen such great growth in the brand, thanks to our strategic partnerships building awareness for Trivento, and now it’s time to take that to the next level. Channel 5 is a great fit for the Trivento wine drinker, with a wide range of diverse content appealing to the more adventurous viewer which we feel is very aligned to our brand values. With a return to other channels also happening just after Easter, this is a great way to continue to drive top of mind awareness, brand sales and household penetration.

“Later in the year we’ll have more exciting product news, and further new campaigns, so it’s going to be a really exciting time for the brand in 2021.”
