Mirabeau Belle Année Rosé launches at Tesco
British backed Provence producer Mirabeau has launched its 2020 Belle Année Rosé at 780 Tesco stores across the UK, in the estate’s widest distribution deal to date.
Priced at £9.99 at bottle, the pale pink, which forms part of Mirabeau’s Atelier range, has gone into 780 Tesco stores nationwide, including Metro, Express, Superstore and Extra.
Since launching last year, Belle Année has scooped a Gold medal in db’s Global Rosé Masters 2020, and was also named the best rosé for under £10 by db.
The “dry yet aromatic” Vin de France, which is sourced from a wider geographical area than Mirabeau’s core range, boasts notes of “strawberries, grapefruit, orange peel and roses” and has “a refreshing finish” with “fresh and vibrant” flavours of “lemon and apricot” on the palate according to Mirabeau.
The estate recommends pairing the rosé with both sweet and savoury dishes, including roast chicken with an orange salad.

Mirabeau was founded by British couple Stephen and Jeany Cronk in 2010, who upped sticks from the UK for a sunnier life in southern France.
The pair recently acquired a vineyard in conversion to organic farming in the nature reserve on the foothills of the Plain of the Maure mountains, close to St Tropez.
In addition to a number of different rosés, the couple also make pink gin using botanicals from the Riviera.
