Errazuriz Wine Photographer of the Year captures beauty of harvest with winning shot
The winner of the prestigious Errazuriz Wine Photographer of the Year has been revealed as a beautiful shot that captures the essence of harvest, entitled ‘A Grape View’.
Spanish photographer Oscar Oliveras picked up the accolade for his shot, which depicts the gathering of emillon grapes on the first day of the harvest at Château des Ganfards, in Saussignac, France.
It shows a harvest machine unloading grapes into a tractor, ready for transport to the winery for pressing.
Oliveras won the Produce category before going on to win the overall grand prize of Errazuriz Wine Photographer of the Year.
“The range and quality of images this year has been extraordinary,” said Caroline Kenyon, Founder/Director of the Awards. “They tell moving, beautiful, informative, entertaining food and drink stories of every kind from around the world – a world still gripped by the pandemic – and show us how food & wine connects us all.”
