Baileys launches new Piña Colada liqueur, ‘Baileys Colada’

If you like Piña Coladas to sip on all spring, then Baileys is answering your prayers with the release of a new Piña Colada liqueur, named Baileys Colada.

Baileys Colada

Yes, though the chances of getting caught in the rain (hopefully) somewhat diminish as spring edges ever closer towards summer, the Piña Colada remains one of the most refreshing and satisfying tipples out there for drinkers who wish to unwind.

Baileys, who know all about satisfying drinks, has therefore come up with a spring sipping solution that’ll have you smacking your lips: the pineapple and coconut flavoured liqueur, Baileys Colada.

The tipple is made with Irish Cream (of course) and mixed with decadent, creamy coconut and sharp, sweet pineapple to conjure dreams of holidays past and future.

While Irish Cream is perhaps traditionally associated with the winter months, is therefore looking at a potentially shrewd move into a new marketplace. The company says the liqueur is “the perfect treat for all your summertime occasions”.

“If you like piña coladas (and Baileys), you are in for an indulgent treat! The new limited edition and taste of summer indulgence – Baileys Colada touches down in the UK from next month.” A spokesperson said, per the Independent.

The company describes the drink thus:

“A blend of our irresistible Irish Cream with the flavors of creamy coconut and sweet, juicy pineapple to create a smooth and creamy drink that’s ready to serve straight from the fridge.

“This delicious treat is best enjoyed over ice or blended with ice for a refreshing summertime cocktail. Baileys Colada is the best way to vacation this summer.”

Last year, we reported on the news that Baileys had helped to re-release 25 novels under the authors’ true names. You can read all about that here.
