UK soft play centre launches adults nights with buy-one-get-one-free drinks
A soft play centre in the United Kingdom is launching an adults night complete with buy-one-get-one free alcoholic drinks and the bar open all evening.
Yes, if the tedium and interminability of lockdown are really getting to you of late, then you’ll doubtless be pleased to learn that a soft play centre in the United Kingdom is plotting the return of its adults-only nights to coincide with the lifting of restrictions.
Big Fun, a soft play centre based in Hull, is planning to hold the events on a weekly basis on Fridays. The heady mixture of ball pits, slides, and booze sees happy hour run from 8pm until 9pm and the bar open all evening.
The night is held for over 18s only, so you’ll need to remember to bring a valid form of ID with you, and entry is priced at £7.
While the news is doubtless a thrill for adults with a sense of childish fun and play about them though, it’s still going to be some time before we can all hurl ourselves into ball pits with a beery smile on our faces.
The venue is planning to take bookings from 17 May, in line with Boris Johnson’s roadmap out of lockdown restrictions. This is as confirmed by a post on the company’s social media, which reads:
“We are now accepting bookings, available dates from 17th May. Any social distancing requirements in place on your chosen event date will be applicable.
“Come and release your inner child at Adult Night! Adult Night is every Friday, 8pm to 10pm.
“The Bar is open, and there’s Happy Hour from 8pm to 9pm when all alcoholic drinks are BOGOF!”
After a year of living with restrictions during the coronavirus pandemic, will you be heading to Hull to get involved with the fun? Let us know in the comments.
