Ottolenghi opens pop-up wine shop in Belgravia

Jerusalem-born London-based chef Yotam Ottolenghi has turned his deli on Motcomb Street in Belgravia into a pop-up wine shop in the run up to Christmas

As reported by Hot Dinners, the pop-up shop is the brainchild of Pierre Malouf, general manager of Ottolenghi’s all-day brasserie, Nopi in Soho.

According to Hot Dinners, Malouf, is “dedicated to celebrating low intervention, natural wines”, meaning the pop-up shop is brimming with organic and biodynamic ‘natural’ wines that take a hands off approach in the winery.

Open until Christmas Eve, among the wines available will be a selection of sparklers, from Champagne and Prosecco to the less celebrated crémant and Lambrusco.

Also up for grabs will be artisanal digestifs, dessert wines and bottled cocktails including the Nopi Negroni and Rovi 75 – Ottolenghi’s twists on the Negroni and French 75.
