Brangelina launch Studio white in time for Christmas
While they may not be together as a couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie continue to make wine together and have just launched a new Miraval white at the Co-op.
Partners in wine: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie continue to make wine together
On sale exclusively at the Co-op, Studio Blanc by Miraval 2019 is a 12.5% ABV Provençal white made from the Rolle grape, which is better known as Vermentino. The white follows on from the success of Studio by Miraval Rosé.
Made in partnership with the Perrin family, who have collaborated with the couple since they purchased Château Miraval in Côtes de Provence, the wine is priced at £12 a bottle and is on sale at Co-op stores nationwide.

Studio Blanc by Miraval 2019 is said to boast aromas of citrus peel and subtle floral notes.
According to its makers, the “mouth-watering white has a pure, refreshing palate of pear, green apples, tangy lime acidity and a hint of almond on the finish”.
“It’s another ‘first’ for Co-op and we are absolutely thrilled to showcase this stunning wine from the brilliant Famille Perrin.
“If you like Albariño, Gavi or subtle examples of Sauvignon Blanc then this wine is a must-try. Appropriately, given its name, this wine hits all the right notes,” Co-op wine buyer, Benjamin Cahill, said.
The supermarket chain first started listing the Studio by Miraval brand, Miraval’s more accessibly priced line, last year.
Last month the Jolie-Pitts launched an ambitious new high-end Champagne project called Fleur de Miraval – creating what they deem to be the first Champagne house entirely dedicated to rosé.
The project was conceived in collaboration with the Péters family, who are based in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and have build a reputation for the quality of their grower Champagnes. Just 20,000 bottles of the fizz have been made from a blend of 75% Chardonnay and 25% Pinot Noir.
