Wine brand seeks taste tester for rosé Prosecco
An Italian wine brand is paying fizz-loving consumers to taste test its rosé Prosecco before it is released in the UK.
Called Pink Prosecco, the brand hopes to be among the very first to sell rosé Prosecco in the UK following a change in Italy’s regulations on the sparkling wine’s production and labelling.
The brand’s Prosecco is made from 88% Glera and 12% Pinot Noir, but despite the modest splash of red it is said to have “intense aromas of red and white flowers” and a hint of strawberry and raspberry.
The successful applicant will be given a rather generous £300 to write a short review of the brand’s fizz, and will even be sent to Treviso next year with a guess to tour the area’s vineyards.
Anyone looking to apply must be over 18 and “an advocate of Prosecco O’Clock”, willing to travel early next year, and must submit a 250 word covering letter on why they are the best person for the job.
The deadline for applications is 20 October. You can apply here.
