Vinexpo Shanghai’s October show goes digital
As the global epidemic continues, Vinexpo Shanghai’s organiser has decided to go digital via its online event platform from 21-23 October.
Vinexpo is presenting an exclusive digital platform to host the coming Vinexpo Shanghai event. From 21-23 October, a Chinese and worldwide audience can log on the platform to browse an array of live tastings, wine and winery presentations, keynote speeches and conferences.
More than 15 breakout sessions will be delivered over the three days. This includes Wine Presentation, where producers will be presenting their vineyards and products during chats and curated tastings; Webinars, a one-hour sharing session focusing on topical issues affecting the global wine and spirits market led by industry experts; and Digital Events, offering relaxed curated tastings with sommeliers.
All the sessions will be available on the platform as replays immediately after the live event and the content will remain accessible online for several months.
All members of the wine and spirits industry around the world are welcome to join the sessions online; but to attend live events or view replays, registration is necessary. The registration of the show went live on Monday 12 October via the organiser’s website.
Last month, Vinexpo announced a new joint venture named ‘Vinexposium’ together with global event organiser Comexposium. Aimed to remain as an “agile and resilient facilitator of global trade in wines and spirits”, the organiser is hoping to offer the industry as many opportunities as possible during this challenging period.
