Scarfes Bar launches cocktails inspired by Enneagram test
Scarfes Bar at the Rosewood London has launched a quirky new cocktail menu based on the nine personality types of the Enneagram test.
The blue-hued Still Standing cocktail combines Patrón Silver with kiwi, kaffir lime and pineapple.
The menu is comprised of 18 cocktails inspired by the nine personality types within the test, with two drinks reflecting the different sides of each character type. Each personality type’s quirks and foibles are represented by a caricature of a famous public figure drawn by the bar’s namesake, British artist Gerald Scarfe.

The nine personality types are: The Reformer, The Helper, The Achiever, The Individualist, The Investigator, The Loyalist, The Enthusiast, The Challenger and The Mediator.
The brainchild of head bartender Yann Bouvignies, the menu is interactive, allowing guests to discover their ideal drink through flavour profiling.
The drinks run the flavour gamut from fruity and tropical to nutty, spiced and savoury.
Portraying the perfectionist qualities of a Reformer, Steve Jobs is embodied in the Mac Daddy cocktail, a complex sip blending Naked Grouse with tomato and pepper.
The liquid equivalent of The Individualist meanwhile, captured in the character of Amy Winehouse, is a CBD-infused Martini made with Grey Goose and hay vermouth.
The controversial character of The Challenger, represented by Donald Trump, is captured in a divisive drink called the Comb Over, which blends Scotch with mushroom, mint and pear.
Those seeking a more joyful sip might plump for sweet concoction the Happy Place, inspired by Walt Disney and The Mediator personality type, which marries Maker’s Mark with pandan and maple verjus.
The Achiever personality, embodied by Elvis Presley, is captured in the Money Honey cocktail (pictured right), a decadent banana and tonka bean twist on an Old Fashioned with a Macallan 12 Year Old base.
Capturing the effervescence of The Enthusiast, and its mascot Elton John, the carbonated, blue-hued Still Standing cocktail combines Patrón Silver with kiwi, kaffir lime and pineapple. Scarfes Bar is open on Wednesday to Friday from 4pm-10pm, and Saturdays from 3pm-10pm.
