Cos releases ‘legendary vintage’ case
Bordeaux estate Cos d’Estournel is launching a limited edition case containing two bottles each of six “legendary” vintages to celebrate owner Michel Reybier’s 20th anniversary at the helm.
Just 100 cases will be made available globally, each containing two bottles from the 2003, 2005, 2009, 2010, 2014 and 2016 vintages, and each purchase includes an invitation for four people to visit the estate and have lunch.
Hotelier Reybier acquired the St Estèphe second growth in 2000 and the six vintages chosen for the case are those that have, “undeniably left their mark on the last two decades of Cos d’Estournel”.
The individually numbered cases will be available from 20 October, through Les Caves de Taillevent in Paris, Millesima USA, Berry Bros & Rudd and direct from the estate with a retail price of €4,200/US$4,390/£3,830.
