Justerini & Brooks adds Storm Wines
UK fine wine merchant Justerini & Brooks has bolstered its growing South African range with the addition of Storm Wines from Hemel-en-Aarde.
Justerinis was able to pick up Storm Wines as part of the on-going feast provided by the splitting up of wholesaler Fields, Morris & Verdin’s portfolio.
South Africa buyer, Mark Dearing, said: “It gives us enormous pleasure to be able to build on the excellent job done by FMV and others in establishing Storm Wines as one of South Africa’s standout producers here in the UK.”
Hannes Storm is a specialist in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, producing wines from the three wards in the Hemel-en-Aarde valley; Valley, Upper Valley and Ridge.
So far his range is comprised of three Pinots and two Chardonnays – with the ‘Ridge’ Chardonnay new this year.
The latest vintages, the 2019 Chardonnays and 2018 Pinot Noirs, will be released later this month.
Storm’s wines join a small but mighty array of South African wines at Justerini & Brooks which includes David & Nadia, Rall Wines and Wolf & Woman.
