HK beer industry catching up with the CBD trend
Hong Kong brewery Young Master has launched a new line of CBD beers.
After the launch of the first local CBD beer at the beginning of the year, Young Master has released a whole new series of beers infused with pure cannabidiol (CBD) isolate at a dosage of 60mg/L.
Young Master partnered with Altum International, one of Asia’s leading cannabinoid platforms, to source the key CBD ingredient and the first release in the new line is a pale ale.
The new range is named “HEA”, after the Cantonese slang word which refers to a blissful state of idleness.
“All of us could do with a breather to refocus on the truly important things. HEA is great way to enjoy a delicious beer while experiencing CBD’s life changing benefits”, said Rohit Dugar, founder of Young Master brewery about the newly launched series.
The brewery plans to launch a draft version of the pale ale later this month. It also plans to launch a series of beer style variations based on its extensive portfolio later this year, all under the umbrella HEA brand.
HEA CBD Pale Ale is now available in cans at Young Master online store, specialty bottle shops and retailers. Price starts from HK$160 for four cans.
