i heart Wines to sell 25m bottles this year
i heart Wines, owned by Freixenet Copestick, has reported that retail sales are now in excess of £100 million with the brand on track to sell 25m bottles this year.
Citing IRI data to 14 June 2020, the wine brand now claims to be the tenth largest in the UK, with strong sales recorded by its Prosecco brand in particular.
According to sales data from IRI in the same time period, its i heart Prosecco label has now become the top-selling branded example in the UK market.
Last week, the brand launched a new television advertising campaign in partnership with Celebrity Googlebox. The advertising will be shown across ITV, Channel 4 and Sky Media.
Dani McDonald, senior brand manager for i heart Wines said: “We are delighted to see such positive news for i heart. It has been a busy few months and we’ve certainly had to adapt our plans. A key strength for this brand is its ability to react at pace to provide both consumers and customers with solutions. We are grateful to see that reflect in the brand’s success.”
Freixenet Copestick recently launched an i heart-branded Malbec in Morrison’s stores and will be also unveiling a new campaign and “branded hotspot” in Asda stores on 3 August.
