Vinexpo moves HK date and launches 2021 tour
Vinexpo has moved the date of its next Hong Kong show from July 2020 to February 2021, and has also launched an international tour for next year.
The next Vinexpo Hong Kong will now take place from 23-25 February 2021
Due to the health risks posed by the coronavirus pandemic, the next Vinexpo Hong Kong will now take place on 23-25 February 2021.
Vinexpo announced a “major international objective” this week to support the wine and spirits industry as the economy recovers from the pandemic, and provide a range of business platforms across the globe.
Vinexpo CEO, Rodolphe Lameyse, is keen to keep business moving
“In order to adapt to an unprecedented and unsettled environment, Vinexpo is going the extra mile,” the statement said.
Part of the objective includes the launch of the 2020-2021 Vinexpo Tour to offer international support for its clients.
The tour aims to align with the market requirements and needs of drinks industry players by providing a set of six events for their annual calendar.
“Promoting actual sales will be the common thread for all of these events, which will provide tiered solutions culminating in the all-inclusive offer to boost return on investment,” a spokesperson for Vinexpo said.
The tour will kick off with Vinexpo Shanghai, which will take place from 21-23 October 2020, followed by Vinexpo Paris on 15-17 February 2021.
The tour will then move to Hong Kong, which is scheduled for 23-25 February 2021, and then it heads to the Big Apple for Vinexpo New York in early March.
The final two events of the year will see the launch of a new look Vinexpo Bordeaux in June 2021, ending with Vinexpo Shanghai in October 2021.
So that clients can make the most of the events, Vinexpo will provide them with targeted offers enabling them to maximise resources, such as multi-show packages.
“Our customers will be looking for greater sales efficacy in the second half of 2020 and in 2021. Supporting them through complementary solutions with optimised participation costs is our priority”, said Vinexpo CEO, Rodolphe Lameyse.
The aim of the tour is to maximise opportunities for drinks professionals to meet and jump-start their business activity through a multi-region platform. Vinexpo is considering creating other international business formats to complement the current range.
