TFWA slashes exhibitor fee for World Exhibition & Conference
Registration is now free for the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference, according to organisers, as coronavirus lockdown measures have ripped up the global trade show calendar for 2020.
TFWA has made a number of changes to the pricing, format and structure of the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference, which is due to be held in Cannes on 28 September to 2 October.
The rental charge for exhibitor space has been slashed by 30%, while registration is now free for all delegates regardless of their business.
In addition, hotel rates have been “significantly reduced”, while rates for other services such as transfers are “under review”.
“This crisis is undoubtedly the most severe our industry has ever faced, and we know that 2020 will prove an exceptionally tough year for all our members and partners,” said TFWA president Alain Maingreaud.
“The steps we are taking are designed to help our exhibitors and visitors, and to ensure we can provide the event our industry needs to recover and regroup.”
