Craig Aldous steps down as CEO of Summergate Fine Wines
Australian retail giant Woolworths, the parent company of distributor Summergate Fine Wines, has announced the departure of CEO Craig Aldous, after a year in the role.
Before joining Summergate, Aldous was the the former chairman of the Australian Chamber of Commerce. He took over the position from Rose Scott in autumn 2018
From now on, the Summergate team will report to Chris Cramond, general manager of Woolworths Group Exports. Cramond has spent 8 years with the company and got promoted to the current position from Head of Financial Services and Insurance earlier this year.
Woolworths acquired Summergate Fine Wines in 2014. Summergate has a portfolio of wines, spirits and drinks from over 70 brands in the Greater China region.
