Doña Paula winemaker departs

Marcos Fernández the winemaker of Argentine estate Doña Paula is leaving the estate at the end of the year it has been announced.

Santa Rita Estates announced recently that Fernández was leaving to “pursue new professional challenges” and added that, “he will be missed but we miss him all the best in his next steps”.

The winery will go into its 2020 harvest with the support of Santa Rita and its winegrowing director Eduardo Alemparte and consultant Nick Goldschmidt will also provide advice during the transition period.
