Wines of Argentina brings Barullo event to Edinburgh for the first time
Industry body Wines of Argentina is hosting its final Barullo Sessions events of the year, taking place in London and for the first time, Edinburgh, in October.
The event, which is supported by Argentina de Inversiones y Comercio Internacional, will see 30 wineries and their representatives showcase their wines in the UK.
Masterclasses held by David Bonomi of Bodega Norton (London), and Wines of Argentina’s Phil Crozier (Edinburgh) to explore the key themes of the tasting in more detail.
The tasting will be grouped into themed tables featuring “exciting new trends” from Argentina, with winery representatives in attendance to guide guests through their portfolio.
The wines hail from all the major regions, with “some surprises”, while the wineries range from established, well-known producers to independent, small-scale winemakers searching for distribution in the UK.
