News site dedicated to London’s best wine lists launched

Wine List Confidential – a unique platform that ranks London restaurants based on the quality of their wine lists alone – has launched a brand new website, packed with restaurant reviews, the top 100 wine lists in London, interviews and the latest on-trade news.

Launched by the drinks business last year, Wine List Confidential is a unique platform that uses a numeric rating system that allows wine lovers to quickly compare the wine offer in restaurants, no matter what the food or format, highlighting the very best restaurants in London for wine. 

Using a 100-point scale, it scores restaurants on all aspects of its wine offering – from value and service, to its size, range and originality – which is then used to give each restaurant reviewed an overall score.

Following an extensive reviewing process, the 2018 Wine List Confidential guide to London’s best restaurants for wine was released in May, featuring in-depth reviews of the capital’s top 100 restaurants for wine, interviews with some of the biggest names in the business and analysis on the trends dominating London’s on-trade. You can buy a copy of the WLC 2018 guide here.

Now, the WLC team has launched a brand new website to support the Wine List Confidential platform and print guide, which offers readers not only comprehensive reviews of London’s best restaurants for wine, but a news service dedicated to London’s on-trade.

Keep up to date with the latest wine-focused London restaurant news, including new openings and best restaurants for wine in London, as well as hot tips for scouting out the best deals on food and wine, and gain insight through interviews with sommeliers, buyers and leading industry figures, analysis on wine trends and regular restaurant reviews.

Earlier this year, the drinks business launched the first Wine List Confidential Awards, designed to celebrate the very best restaurants for wine in London, at the London Wine Fair.
