Piper-Heidsieck to sponsor Australian Open
Champagne Piper-Heidsieck is to become an official sponsor of the Australian Open as part of a new three-year deal.
Starting with the 2019 edition of the slam next January, Piper-Heidsieck will construct a ‘Champagne House’ on Grand Slam Oval in Melbourne and its wines will be poured across both public and corporate licensed outlets as well as at the restaurants which include Rockpool and Nobu.
Tennis Australia chief revenue officer Richard Heaselgrave said: “Piper-Heidsieck is recognised around the world for its excellence and prestige and we are very excited to welcome it on board for the Australian Open, starting in 2019.”
Piper-Heidsieck is also the official sponsor of the Oscars and the Cannes Film Festival.
