Global Masters winners to take centre stage at The Wine & Spirits Show

A selection of Gold and Master medal-winning wines from The Drinks Business Global Masters series will take centre stage at The Wine & Spirits Show this autumn.

Taking place at One Whitehall Place in Westminster on 12-13 October, The Wine & Spirits Show will offer attendees a chance to taste some of the top-scoring wines in The Drinks Business Global Masters series, in which wines are blind taste and judged by grape variety, style or category rather than country.

The show will highlight some of the top medal winners from the series in The Global Masters Tasting Zone, staffed by The Drinks Business editorial team, allowing companies to showcase their brands to over 2,000 consumers and 400 trade visitors.

Medal-winning wines will be listed in the official show catalogue, which will include the product details and how to purchase it.

The cost to enter a medal-winning wine is £195 per brand and four to six samples of each product taking part in the Tasting Zone will be required. Wineries keen to submit their medal-winning wines to the show should contact Sophie Raichura on: sophie.raichura@unionpress.co.uk

The Wine & Spirits Show takes place at The Royal Horseguards Hotel in central London on Friday 12th (1pm-9pm) and Saturday 13th October (12pm-8pm). The drinks trade will be invited to attend on Friday 12th from 1pm to 5pm.

The show will bring together leading brands in the world of wine and spirits. The Global Beer Tour Zone will offer guests the chance to sample a wide range of beer styles, including beers that scored highly in The Global Beer Competition.

The Spirits Masters Zone meanwhile, will showcase the medallists from the competition, run by The Spirits Business, in categories including vodka, rum, Tequila and whisky.

The New Products Zones will showcase the hottest wines and spirits launched within the last year, keeping you up to speed with emerging trends.

The show will also boast a G&T bar serving gins from all over the world, charcuterie from South Africa and cheese from Paxton & Whitfield.
