Chivas named official spirits partner of Manchester United

Scotch distiller Chivas Regal has joined singed a deal with Manchester United to become the football club’s official spirits partner.

The Pernod Ricard-owned distillery has singed a three-year partnership with the club which will mean a number of blended whiskies from Chivas’ portfolio will be available throughout Old Trafford’s hospitality suites.

In addition to this, Chivas marketing materials will be on display throughout the stadium and grounds.

The partnership was revealed to fans through a new video ahead of the club’s first Premier League home game of the season on Friday 10 August.

Manchester United’s managing director Richard Arnold said that the partnership plays on a link between the benefits of blending whiskies and working as a team.

“Manchester United’s history is built on teamwork and we embrace Chivas’ belief that ‘blended is better.’ Our success both on and off the pitch allows us to bring together the best mix of people who help to make our Club the global name it is today.

“Each individual has their own skills but the way in which they blend together is what makes us a united team.”
