Currently vice president of marketing for Ambev — the Belgian-owned firm’s Brazilian business — Lindenberg will move to her new role at the start of 2019.
She has held a number of roles in South America and the United States throughout her 17-year stint with ab InBev, and has been responsible for Ambev’s key Latin American brands, including Skol, Brahma and Antarctica.
The news comes one month after the brewer revealed that current UK president Jason Warner is moving through the company’s ranks to lead its overall European business.
Announced as part of a number of organisational changes the brewer unveiled in its second quarter and half year results earlier this month, Jason will become Zone President for Europe at the beginning of next year.
Warner said that Lindenberg has “contributed hugely to our Latin American business, leading its growth strategy, expanding its premium beers and reconnecting the business with its brewing heritage,”
“I have no doubt that she will bring her own brand of creative vision and energy to these shores.”
