Cognac Frapin takes to social media
Cognac house Frapin is providing its fans with the chance to follow the brand on social media with the launch of dedicated pages on Facebook and Instagram.
The Grande Champagne-based producer has launched the two social channels in a bid to communicate with its b2b customers as well as its final consumers.
The Facebook page will cover brand news as well as new products, events and the Cognac’s history and terroir, while Instagram will be used to promote brand imagery.
Communications manager Thomas Sorret added: “We would like to communicate with both our customers and consumers in an other way (with more pictures) in order to show them what Frapin is about – its terroir, know-how, products and events.
“It is another way and tool to communicate so we want to add it to our communication plan”.
This move follows the launch of a new look website in May with sections dedicated to cocktail recipes, food pairing and tours of the French château.
The producer also unveiled a new single estate Cognac called 1270 at this year’s ProWein in March. The expression is aged for up to six months in new oak barrels before being transferred to older casks.
According to the brand, 1270 has a nose of “vine and lime blossom with a hint of vanilla” and is “harmonious and balanced”.
