London Cru adds to Liberty London wine offering
Urban winery London Cru has renewed its partnership with one of the city’s leading department stores, Liberty London, adding a red wine to the shop’s British Food Hall.
Last year London Cru became the fist wine to be sold at the store when it supplied the food hall with its English Bacchus.
This year it will also add its London Cru Syrah to the offering. The wine is made at its West Brompton winery but with grapes sourced from Calatayud in Spain, while the label has been designed by surrealist artist Sarah Wickings.
Cliff Roberson, founder of London Cru, said: “We’re proud to be working with Liberty on this project, as one of the top independent retailers in London, it’s a perfect fit. We look forward to working alongside Liberty on forthcoming vintages as we move focus to the production of quality English wines.”
