The Galician wines will henceforth be available to the trade from FMV and to private customers through Berry Bros & Rudd’s various retail channels.
Catriona Felstead MW, wine buyer for Spain at Berry Bros. & Rudd adds: “We are delighted Rafael is joining our portfolio of already exemplary producers. His vision and passion for the vines and wines of this far-flung corner of the North West of Spain has driven many to emulate him. He is a truly inspirational winemaker.”
Late last month, the company also bolstered its South African portfolio with the addition of two producers: Scions of Sinai and Storm Wines, the former of Stellenbosch and the latter from Hemel-en-Aarde.
Katherine Dart MW, wine buyer for South African wine at BBR said: “The wines produced by Hannes Storm and Bernie Bredell at Scions of Sinai evoke real excitement for us, they possess concentration and elegance while embodying a clear sense of place.
“We believe they add another dimension to our South African Portfolio, further enhancing the quality of the wines we are able to offer our customers.”
