Nicolas Feuillatte launches new packaging for UK on-trade
Nicolas Feuillatte — France’s largest Champagne label — has unveiled a new-look for its branding, re-launching its website as well as developing new packaging for both on and off-trade bottles.
It marks the first time Nicolas Feuillatte has made the on-trade range available in the UK.
The labels will give the bottles “a fresher look to fully express its vision as a Champagne brand,” according to an emailed statement.
The new branding will feature on bottles of the drinks maker’s Reserve, Vintage and Millésime Grand Cru expressions in both the on and off-trade.
The news comes after Nicolas Feuillatte announced its plans to further its dominance in the global Champagne market following a large investment into its winemaking and tourism facilities at the brand’s AGM this week.
Execs have made significant investments in Nicolas Feuillatte’s tourist opportunities since 2015 — most notably a €25m (£22m) new visitor centre which opened last June. It has also spent €7.5m on bolstering its production facilities, as well as a new harvesting facility.
Exports account for 40% of total sales, according to CV-CNF, which is also the US’ 4th-largest sparkling wine brand in terms of market share.
