New orange-flavoured Tanqueray gin to launch in UK and Spain
Diageo-owned gin brand Tanqueray is to release a new expression made with oranges from Seville called Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla in the UK and Spain.
The new gin is bottled at 41.3% ABV and will launch in the UK and Spain this month at an RRP of £25 (€28) per 70cl bottle.
It will then be rolled out in Canada and global travel retail channels in May, Diageo has confirmed.
As well as oranges, the gin has four other botanicals and is described as having a “tangy, sweet flavour, with notes of tangerine, juniper and coriander.
“Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla is something really new for the world of gin and reflects our love of innovating with flavour,” said Anita Robinson, Europe category director for gin at brand owner Diageo.
“We’re sure that bartenders everywhere will enjoy bringing a little bit of Seville into their customers’ lives this summer”.
This year, Tanqueray has also unveiled a new look for its Rangpur expression, while also announcing the expansion of its distribution into new markets.
In March, Diageo also revealed its plans to bring back spiced gin Tanqueray Malacca.
