With Australia chosen as the country of honour at this year’s Vinexpo Hong Kong, the show will include a masterclass led by Australia’s First Families of Wine.

Presented for the first time outside of Australia, the masterclass will take place on 30 May between 10-11:30am and will see Australia’s first families “unlock the secrets of their cellars” and “share their aged family jewels”.
The masterclass panel will feature different generations within the families and each will present their chosen wine at the tasting, which aims to highlight the quality, depth and breadth of premium Australian wine.
Among the revered families to be presenting their wines will be: Brown Brothers, Campbells, d’Argnberg, de Bortoli, Henschke, Howard Park, Jim Barry Wines, McWilliams, Tahbilk, Tyrrell’s Wines, Wakefield Taylors and Yalumba.
Between them, Australia’s first families of wine have over 1,380 years of winemaking experience. In collaboration with Wine Australia, this year’s Vinexpo Hong Kong, will include a broad selection of Australian wine tastings and talks.
Vinexpo Hong Kong will celebrate its 20th anniversary this year. The show takes place at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre from 29-31 May and will showcase more than 1,300 exhibitors from 30 countries.
