Wines of Portugal puts the consistent growth of still wines in the UK down to the perceived quality and value of Portuguese wines around the world.
“The consistent growth of Portuguese still wine imports to the UK is a reflection of our continued commitment to driving awareness of these wines,” said Jorge Monteiro, president of ViniPortugal.
“While these wines are still an emerging category in the UK, this positive trend proves that consumers are keen to discover the quality and versatility that Portuguese wine has to offer,” he added.
