Copestick Murray appoints new head of winemaking
Barry Dick MW has been named as the new head of winemaking at Copestick Murray.
Dick, who has 15 years of winemaking experience, has worked from McLaren Vale to the Languedoc, for big Australian brands such as McGuigans and Hardys, he also spent five years managing the quality and sourcing of Sainsbury’s own brand range and has consulted for UK retailers Morrison’s and Tesco.
Robin Copestick, managing director of Copestick Murray, said: “Barry is a great addition to the Copestick Murray team and his appointment will add another dimension to our company. He is ideally placed to bring our supplier base closer to our customers and the end consumer. With his vast experience, knowledge and understanding of the UK wine industry, Barry will work closely with all stakeholders to ensure we add value throughout the entire supply chain. Barry will be a big asset to our i heart business and other new, exciting projects we have in the pipeline.
