Chocolate with core of Tito’s vodka announced by Sugarfina
California-based confectionary brand Sugarfina and Austin vodka distillery Tito’s Handmade Vodka have collaborated to produce two varieties of vodka-infused goodies, one of which is 5% ABV.
Chocolate and vodka are perfect for fending off the January blues, and now you can appreciate them together with Sugarfina’s first alcoholic chocolate.
Its Vodka Cordials contain a sip of Tito’s Handmade Vodka coated in dark chocolate. The company also launches its American Mule Bears, gummy bears infused with Tito’s vodka and ginger beer, which are sadly non-alcoholic.
Sugarfina is the brainchild of Rosie O’Neil and Josh Resnick, who conceived of the idea of a luxury confectionary store for grown-ups after watching Mel Stuart’s Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.
Sugarfina was launched in 2012 and took the world by storm with its rosé-infused gummy sweets in 2016. While the company has produced a wide variety of alcohol-flavoured sweets, the Vodka Cordials are its first alcoholic confectionary.
Both the Vodka Cordials and the American Mule Bears will be available from Monday, with a box of either confectionary costing $8.50. Alternatively both can be purchased in a limited edition gift box along with a 2oz copper mug for $28.
