We’ve teamed up with Design My Night to bring you the best New Year’s eve parties hitting the capital this year, from whisky-soaked speakeasy parties to secret venues, ping pong, and a Mike Skinner DJ set with free-flowing Tattinger.

New Year At The Mansion, secret location in NW
What?
“Debauchery and mischief”, if that’s your thing. The Manion parties are held in a secret North London location, but inside the venue its anything but low-key. Expect cabaret, a solo saxophonist, clairvoyants, fire shows, and event an art exhibition.
The deal: 2-4-1 on drinks before 10pm, street food stalls and an RnB and Hip-Hop soundtrack all night
Time: 9pm till 4am
Dress code: Pink, withy a prize for the best outfit. Think glitter, frills, feathers, and lots of them.
Price: Tickets start at £36 for standard entry, or a whopping £4,500 for VIP
The Blitz Party New Year’s Eve Special at Village Underground, Shoreditch
What?
Step back in time into an authentic air-raid shelter, complete with sandbags, hurricane lamps, reconnaissance maps and blackout curtains organised by upmarket events group Bourne & Hollingsworth.
The deal: Live big bands performing 40s classics and a few modern favourites, modern takes on classic cocktails, and a “mess stall”
Time: 9pm till 3am
Dress code: 1940s glamour (no jeans or trainers)

The Big Bang New Year’s Eve Boat Party on Westminster Pier
What?
Despite the winter chill sweeping through the river his was sell out affair last NYE. Choose to make your NYE celebration a little different to welcome in 2018 and cruise down the Thames. The tickets may be slightly more expensive than your average club entry, but a free-flowing booze cruise in the heart of London is hard to pass up. When the fireworks start on the London Eye, you’ll have the best seat in the house.
The deal: A five-hour cruise, live DJ, professional photographer, glass of bubbly on arrival, a sit-down buffet and unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks all night long
Time: All aboard at 7:45pm on Westminster Pier for an 8pm kick-off. Disembark at 1am

The Après New Years Eve Party at Battersea Evolution
What?
This December, Battersea Evolution in the heart of Battersea Park will make like London’s winter pop-ups and transform into an Alpine wonderland packed with entertainment . The vast event space will be decked out with cosy Chesterfield sofas, fur throws, 20ft Christmas trees, and even a flurry of snow to keep everyone feeling festive into the New Year.
Sit yourself down and enjoy a four-course dinner in the swish end of South London before having a go on the dodgems, play your cards right at the casino and watch the fireworks live-streamed on a big screen before dancing the night away to a live band.

The Secret Speakeasy at Hush, Mayfair
What?
Modern European restaurant Hush is hosting a retro speakeasy-themed event encompassing dinner, drinks, and a little debauchery.
The deal: Enjoy a “secret” cocktail on arrival, complimentary fizz, and hot dogs to soak it all up after the clock strikes. There’s also the option of a three-course dinner, but you will pay more for that.
Time: 7:30 till 3am, with dinner at 9pm
Dress code: Smart
Price: Tickets start from £75, with dining options from £120
The Masquerade Ball at the London Cabaret Club, Bloomsbury
What?
Keeping up with the decadent burlesque theme this year is London Cabaret Club’s Masquerade Ball, featuring extravagant entertainment in the form of choreography by the club’s resident dancers, and also featuring fire breathers, aerialists, and even contortionists. Tickets for this event are on a sliding scale, from general admission and an open bar, right up to a Dom Pérignon and canapé reception, followed by a four-course dinner with expertly paired wines and a complimentary “Smoking Firework” cocktail. You can even hire a VIP booth complete with a bottle of your choice of spirit, and a glass of Möet Hennessy Champagne.
The deal: Dependent on ticket type. Every guest will have access to the New Years afterparty featuring live entertainment until the small hours.

Party with Mike Skinner at The Rooftop St James’, Trafalgar Square
What?
Yes, you read that right. Has it Come to This? Why go to your urban friends’ dingy flat party when you can sip on Tattinger and wile out to The Streets legend Mike Skinner at a classy rooftop party in St James’?
Discover London’s most iconic view as you enjoy an extravagant dinner “designed to tantalise your tastebuds,” according to the organisers. In addition, you’ll indulge in an array of free-flowing drinks including Taittinger Champagne, Sipsmith Gin, Remy Martin VSOP Cognac, Naked Grouse Whisky, a selection of wine, beer and other premium spirits. It’s a strange mash-up, but we suppose all Geezers Need Excitement.
You’ll have sone of the best views in London for the fireworks, so try not to get Blinded by the Lights (sorry).
The deal: A seven-course sharing dinner, unlimited Champagne, spirits, wine and beer, and, of course, the man, the myth, the legend that is Mike Skinner.

The Prohibition party New Year’s Eve Special at a secret Central London location
What?
If there’s anything that gets London’s bright young things excited, its a party at an undisclosed location. Bourne & Hollingsworth will publish the location of the event on its website just before the big night.
Guests will be transported back to the giddy magic of the glistening Roaring Twenties, a time when footloose flappers danced the Charleston, card sharp cads tried their luck at the roulette table, and everyone quaffed on the free-flowing bootlegged booze.
Throughout the night, entertainment includes live bands, DJs on gramophones, silent cinema, dancing troupes and gambling tables. In order to elude the beady eye of the law, cocktail menus are circulated hidden inside the pages of books, and drinks are served in teacups. There’s also a pre-party dance class, for those who want to perfect their Charleston before betting on the fizz.

NYE Pre-Apocalyptic Ping Party at Bounce, Farringdon
What?
Fans of alliteration and table tennis would do well to grab some tickets to this sports-focused night at legendary Ping Pong palace Bounce. The venue believes we’re on the verge of armageddon thanks to Trump, Brexit, North Korea and almost every other news story this year, so guests are encouraged to do all the awful things they secretly want to under their careful supervision. Expect UV lights, Wonderball and Games Gurus to make sure 2018 starts with a bang.
The deal: Freeplay across all the tables, UV face painters, live DJ, happy hour drinks prices and free pizza from 8pm-10pm
Time: 8pm till 3am
Dress code: Who cares? This might be your last night on earth.

NYE at Keystone Crescent, King’s Cross
What?
Last, but most certainly not least, is the most exclusive New Year’s Eve party of them all.
A secret grey door. A keypad to let yourself in. A hidden lounge bar; an oasis to escape the craziness of life above, on the streets of Kings Cross. Start 2018 right at this low-key members’ club around the corner from King’s Cross.
If UK garage or debauched cabaret shows aren’t your thing, link up with a friendly, like-minded crowd or bring along your nearest and dearest (this one’s open to non-members and members alike) and ring in the new year in style with free-flowing drinks paired with cheese and charcuterie.
