Distilled non-alcoholic spirit Seedlip launches 20cl bottles

Seedlip, the world’s first distilled non-alcoholic spirits brand, has announced the launch of new 20cl size bottles, with aim of helping the brand better tap into gifting occasions.

The 20cl bottles are available in single-bottle and duo gift-boxes in both existing expressions, Spice 94 & Garden 108, and join the current 70cl range.

Seedlip Drinks, the Diageo-backed non-alcoholic distilled spirit, launched in the UK in 2015 and has since expanded into the US market, capitalising on growing demand for non-alcohol alternatives.

Seedlip founder, Ben Branson, said: “The world is at the beginning of a paradigm shift in how it drinks, with global alcohol & sugary, soft-drink volumes continuing to decline & a younger audience shunning alcohol altogether.

“We believe the opportunity to solve the dilemma of what to drink when you’re not drinking is only set to grow and our 20cl bottles offer an attractive size for first time trial, gifting, or the weekly shop.’

The non-alcoholic spirit is available in two flavour variants, now in both 70cl and 20cl formats.

Seedlip Spice 94 is a blend of individual copper-pot distillates including two barks, two spices and two citrus peels.

Seedlip Garden 108 is a “green and floral blend” of individual copper-pot distillates including handpicked peas and hay from Branson’s family farm and traditional herbs including spearmint, rosemary & thyme. Both are intended to be served long with tonic water.

Available from seedlipdrinks.com, the 20cl single bottles have an RRP of £12.99, with gift boxes retailing at £25.99.

great move by seedlip, there has been a clear trend for non alcoholic drinks in the market which is only set to grow. In fact research by https://www.distillventures.com/, who are an investor in Seedlip suggests non alcoholic spirits and beverages in general will be one of the biggest growing trends in the beverage industry. This makes it the perfect time to to start ups to enter the market.
