HDH finishes year with three-day sale
US auctioneer Hart Davis Hart is to see out 2017 with a three-day long sale featuring over 3,000 lots worth an estimated US$5-$8 million.
Taking place in Chicago from 14-16 December the sale will feature collections from various well-known collectors and the TRU Restaurant and covers all of the greatest names of Bordeaux, Burgundy, the Rhône, Champagne, Italy, Port and Napa among other regions.
Lots of particular interest include a full 12 bottle case of 1982 Le Pin ($70,000 – $100,000); bottles of Krug consigned direct from the cellar of the house including the 1988 and 1995 vintages; 1970 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva, Biondi-Santi Tenuta Il Greppo; one bottle of 1955 Bowmore 40 year old; one magnum of 1985 Dom Pérignon Rosé ‘P3’ and assortments of 2001, 1995 and 1996 Domaine de la Romanée-Conti.
