Breaking: Krug’s Henriquez announced as president of LVMH wine division

Margareth Henriquez, the president of Champagne Krug, has been named as the successor to Jean-Guillaume Prats as president of LVMH’s Estates & Wines.

Henriquez will take up her new role (which is in addition to her current responsibilities at Krug) on 1 January 2018.

The role as head of the French luxury group’s top estates became available when Prats left earlier this month to take over from Christophe Salin as president and CEO of Château Lafite; part of a big shake up at the top of the first growth estate.

Henriquez will report to Philippe Schaus who took over from Christophe Navarre as CEO and chairman of Moët Hennessy earlier this year.

With the appointment she also becomes a member of the board of the Moët Hennessy Operational Committee.
