ProWein 2018 ‘already sold out’
Such is the popularity of wine and spirits trade fair ProWein in Dusseldorf, the 6,600 available exhibition spaces at the 2018 fair next March have already sold out.
The event will take place from 18-20 March next year and will feature attendance from all of the relevant wine-growing regions in the world alongside 400 spirits specialists.
Newcomers next year include a stand from the Japanese government themed around saké, and a large stand showcasing Palinka fruit brandies from Hungary.
Next year’s show will shine a light on craft producers and will include representation from over 50 craft beer, spirits and cider producers.
Also taking up residence in the “same but different” hall will be the Fizzz Lounge, which is due to attract the great and the good of the bartending world.
Meanwhile, the organic wine area in Hall 13 of will be bigger and more comprehensive next year with strong representation from France, Germany and Italy, and an Organic Lounge offering food and organic wine matches.
Overseas exhibitors from Australia, Argentina, Chile, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa and the USA will be bigger than ever before next year.
Around 500 tastings and events will take place during the three-day fair.
