Eastenders star Adam Woodyatt has launched his own gin label
By Edith HancockEastenders actor Adam Woodyatt has turned to drink, has launched his own gin label just in time for Christmas.
Woodyatt who plays the character Ian Beale since 1985, the only original cast member still in the BBC soap, has launched his own gin label, Neat Gin, a boutique gin brand he will run with his wife, Beverley.
The anonymous source suggested Neat Gin could be on the menu at the Old Vic.
Neat Gin is currently only available at the Jenever Gin Bar in Liverpool, but plans are underway to roll it out elsewhere.
The botanical blend was extremely popular with customers at Jenever Gin Bar, whose owner told the drinks business the first batch of Neat Gin sold out extremely quickly.
“Adam brought a bottle to the bar a few weeks ago and it’s all gone,” he said. “[We’re] just waiting on more stock.”
Paul said he is currently waiting for budding entrepreneur Woodyatt to return with a larger batch. “We’ll post it on our Facebook page when it’s in.”
According to a source in the Sun, this latest project is “something Adam is really passionate about.”
Woodyatt is planning to sell his gin online, alongside some additional merchandise for the brand.
