Jessica Hill-Smith leaves Moët to join Mentzendorff UK
Jessica Hill-Smith is moving from Moët Hennessy Australia to London to take up the role of communications manager at Mentzendorff, the UK agent for Champagne Bollinger.
Jessica Hill-Smith was assistant brand manager at Moët Hennessy Australia from June 2014 to June 2017.
Jessica, who is a member of the Hill-Smith family, one of the best-known and most respected names in the Australian wine industry, is relocating to London after four years marketing experience with Moët Hennessy Australia, where she has worked as an assistant brand manager for Champagnes Moët & Chandon, Dom Pérignon, Krug and Ruinart.
Before joining Moët Hennessy Australia in June 2014, Jessica was a marketing intern at Wine Australia at the organisation’s US office, located in Washington DC.
She has, however, previously worked in the UK, having spent a four month internship from October 2013 at Negociants UK – the UK distributor for Yalumba and other brands, and a business owned by the HIll-Smith family.
Mentzendorff told db today that the business were “very pleased” to announce the appointment of Jessica, who replaces John Franklin, who left Mentzendorff on 28 July after five years at the company.
