Bonhams announces San Francisco line-up
Auction house Bonhams has announced the line-up for its next fine wine sale in San Francisco later this month.
Taking place on 22 September, the sale will feature a variety of collections from Californian consignees, with wines ranging from ‘cult’ Napa classics, to old claret and Champagne.
Some key lots include: vintages of Screaming Eagle spanning 1996-2014, a case of Hundred Acre Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 ‘Few and Far Between’, cases of 1998 and 2005 Château Pavie, 1998 Cheval Blanc, a magnum of 1978 Dom Pérignon and a bottle of Krug’s 1989 Clos du Mesnil.
Bonhams head of wine in the US, Erin McGrath, said: “California has some of the most sophisticated and discerning wine collectors in the States and it is a real pleasure to be able to offer collections with such outstanding pedigree.”
