Suzanne Webb joined the BWS team as BWS trading manager at the start of the year after five years working as a trading manager at M&S in other categories, covering the produce and meal solutions categories. She joined M&S in 2007 as a buyer for the delicatessen category, coming from Tesco, where she was a wine buyer.
Webb has taken over the role from Garry Brooking, who moved internally to head up trading for the retailer’s meat, fish & poultry departments.
Brooking joined the team in 2014 after eight years working in roles across M&S’s multichannel operations. After joining the retailer from Waitrose in 2006, he worked as a wine buyer in e-commerce, becoming trading manager for M&S Wine Direct and M&S Wine Club, before moving to roles in the groceries and ambient categories.
