Coravin unveils new styles in HK
In an effort to attract trend-conscious wine lovers, Coravin has unveiled two new colour styles – ‘Rose Gold’ and ‘Piano Black’ – for its popular Model Two Elite collection, in Hong Kong.
The two additions, which are described as two designs combining “fashion and technology” by the company, are now available at Watson’s Wine and Enoteca Wine for HK$2,800 (US$360). The latter only sells the ‘Piano Black’ version.
The new ‘Rose Gold’ and ‘Piano Black’ join the existing Model Two Elite Collection alongside red, gold and silver options, all with chrome ‘accents’.
Launched in 2013, Coravin is a wine access system that uses a thin medical-grade needle to insert through the cork and into the bottle to access the wine, while allowing argon gas (an inert gas regularly used in the wine-making process) to be pumped in to pressurise and pour the wine.
Each Coravin Model Two Elite comes with a standard needle, two pressurised Coravin argon gas capsules, Coravin protective wine bottle sleeve and needle cleaning tool.
