Cocktail art at the Artesian
March is the month of art in Hong Kong, and in homage to all things artsy, the team at the Langham’s Artesian Bar has created an ethereally beautiful cocktail contained within ice.
Hong Kong is unusually artsy this month with the Arts Festival running until 18 March, Arts Central from 21-25 March and the much anticipated global Art Basel from 23-25 March and the Langham’s Artesian Bar has created a colourful concoction in homage to the month of March and spring.
The Garden Globe uses elderflower, violet and blackcurrant liqueur along with fresh lime juice and egg white and is served suspended in an ice sphere with edible flowers and priced at HK$130, available until 30 April.
Those with a sweet tooth can pair The Garden Globe with the Blooming Art afternoon tea (HK$348 for one person and HK$598 for two) with British illustrator Tanya Bennett designing guests’ portraits in watercolour on 25 March from 2.15pm-4.15pm and 4.30pm-6.30pm and on 26 March at 2.15pm-4.15pm.
The afternoon tea is available from 21 March to 31 May 2017.
