BBR joins WSET as Silver Corporate Patron

Berry Bros. & Rudd has joined Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) as a Silver Corporate Patron.

After many years working with WSET as an Approved Programme Provider (APP) offering WSET education to staff and consumers, Berry Bros. & Rudd has now joined as the 13th Silver Corporate Patron among an illustrious list of organisations in the WSET’s Corporate Patron programme.

The Corporate Patrons programme ensures that the WSET receives essential funding to allow it to continue to develop its world-class courses and qualifications, as well as maintain and advance its online global campus and professional membership body for graduates. The partnerships help organisations add value to their own business by maximising the benefits of training and joining the WSET’s global network of professionals and enthusiasts.

Dan Jago, chief executive of Berry Bros. & Rudd, commented: “We are delighted to have become a Corporate Patron of WSET. Education has always been at the heart of Berry Bros. & Rudd and our Wine School gives hundreds of students the opportunity to study for the WSET exams each year. With this in mind, as well as the on-going education and development of Berry Bros. & Rudd colleagues, it is entirely natural that we are able to provide this level of support to WSET.”

Ian Harris, WSET chief executive, added, “As a business very much aligned with our educational foundation, we’re thrilled to welcome Berry Bros. & Rudd as a Silver level partner in our Corporate Patrons programme. They have provided great support offering our qualifications to aspiring professionals and enthusiasts over the years, and this new partnership will enable our businesses to unite in the mission to innovate and educate in the dynamic world of wine and spirits.”
