Acker announces March HK auction
Acker, Merrall and Condit’s upcoming Hong Kong auction will highlight classic vintages of Latour and Lafleur as well as bags of beautiful Burgundy.
Ones to watch: Lots 18-19. Two magnums of Chambertin 1996 and Chambertin Clos de Beze 1996. Per lot US$4,000-US$6,000
Acker’s Connoisseurs’ Club auction on 25 March will kick off with a pre-auction tasting at 11am in Grissini at the Grand Hyatt followed by the auction at 12pm.
The sale starts and ends strong with 1945 Cheval Blanc and 1998 Gaja, as well as 1949 and 1959 Chateau Latour and 1985 Chateau Lafleur.
Elsewhere, there is a parcel of 1986 Leflaive Chevalier Montrachet and 1978 Henri Jayer Vosne Romanee Villages.
In the first 100 lots there are also two magnums of 1996 Rousseau, 1999 Rene Engel grand cru, 1966 and 1978 Vogue and the Italian gems of 1982 Giacosa Riserva and 1970 and 1971 Aldo Conterno Barolo Granbussia Riserva Speciale.’
