Final call for first two Asian Masters
Final entries are being accepted for the drinks business Hong Kong Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc Masters, with importers particularly urged to enter.
The deadline for the Cabernet Sauvignon Masters is Friday, 24 February and for the Sauvignon Blanc Masters, Monday, 3 March.
Judged by a panel including wine experts, sommeliers and senior buyers and chaired by the drinks business Hong Kong editorial team, the two first Asian Masters competitions will shine a light on the very best expressions of Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc around the world which represent every price category.
For Cabernet Sauvignon, blends are also accepted, providing that Cabernet Sauvignon makes up at least 50% and the entries will be split into oaked and unoaked styles for ease of judging.
Wines are scored out of 100, with those gaining over 95 points awarded the top title of Master, those earning over 90 points awarded Gold, those over 85 points Silver and those over 80 points Bronze.
The cost is HK$1,540 per entry, with three samples required per entry though there is no limit to the different wines submitted.
