CSG launches new line of corks
The Cork Supply Group (CSG) has launched a new line of ‘micro-agglomerated’ and TCA-free closures called ‘Vinc’.
The new corks are “guaranteed” to have below 0.5 nanograms per litre of releasable TCA and have been developed over several years.
The range will be the first new product to be launched at CSG’s dedicated facility Cork Supply Portugal 4 and includes three corks that allow differing amounts of oxygen transfer rates: ‘Vinc’, ‘Vinc+’ and ‘Vinc Cuvée’ – the latter being for sparkling wines.
“The Vinc product line is the result of the work of our focused research and development team,” says Jochen Michalski, CSG’s founder.
“We opened CSP4 last year to be able to offer taint free, best-in-class micro-agglomerated corks produced from 100% of our own high quality raw cork materials. As Cork Supply integrates rigorous quality controls during harvesting and production of our natural corks, all remaining cork materials from that production are of very high quality.”
