Vacu Vin launches TV spin-off range
Vacu Vin is launching a special range of powered wine gadgets as it partners with the second series of ITV’s The Wine Show.
Vacu Vin to launch The Wine Show range
The new ‘Wine Show’ range will include gift sets, wine pumps, aerators, thermometers, corkscrews, and champagne servers branded with the logo of the TV hit. They will be launched at next month’s homeware and gift trade show, 2017 Spring Fair, with a view to hitting retail shelves later in the year.
Christian Dalton, UK Country Manager for parent company Dutch Creative Brands, said he was delighted with the collaboration.
“Opening up and reaching an entirely new market of consumers that love their wine and indeed their gadgets is something that we’re incredibly excited about,” he said.
Dutch Creative Brands CEO, Patrick Schneider said it was a ‘natural fit”, given The Wine Show’s innovative approach, and Dutch Creative Brands’ “established track record” of bringing innovative wine products to market
“The growing appetite for wine accessory products that enable consumers to enhance their own enjoyment in wine means that this partnership is an ideal match. We look forward to retailers having the opportunity to list products that we know will be in huge demand, particularly the Gift sets at Christmas,” he said.
The company’ original vacuum ‘wine saver’ was first devised in 1983 with Vacu Vin launching onto the market in 1986.
The first series of The Wine Show, which was aired in the UK in April, is currently being repeated on ITV.
